Peewees New Term Begins tomorrow

The new Peewees Term begins tomorrow and runs until the end of June, training runs from 6pm-7pm. There is now a new registration form that must be filled out, so I would like all the parents to come into the club house and fill in the form before the training begins or while the training is on.
As always the cost is €25 and has to be paid in full, either tomorrow or in the following few weeks.
If you have not paid by something by 24th of April your child will no longer be allowed to train.
This is due to problems and delays in payment during the previous couple of terms.

Peewees Easter Camp

There will be an Easter camp run this Thursday 2nd, Good Friday and Saturday.
It costs €25 and If the kids want to participate just turn up on the day.
The times are
Thursday:            3pm-6pm.
Good Friday:      10am-2pm
Saturday:             10am-2pm

Peewees - current term ends and a new term begins

As you may now know the Peewees Term finishes up this Friday the 27th. The new term begins in two weeks from Friday on the 10th of April and will run until the end of June. There will be a new method of registration which you will be updated about on the week of the 10th of April.

Interest from Chelsea

Our under 12 Premier team have been attracting attention with the the quality of their football and after a visit from one of the Chelsea scouts to watch the team two players have been invited to take part in a Chelsea training day next week. 50 young players from all over Ireland ( players born in 2003) will take part in the day. So congratulations to Sean Roughan and Ben Fagan and best of luck on the day. Their selection is a testimony to the quality of coaching of the management team of Joe Gannon and Daire Doyle. Also best wishes to Daire as he prepares for the new League of Ireland season with Shelbourne.

Swords Celtic Player on Ireland U15 Squad

Jordan Maguire captain of our under 15 premier team, played with the Irish international development team in a friendly against the Waterford area under 16 squad. Congratulations to Jordan on achieving international recognition hopefully more opportunities will arise. Jordan is a great example to all young players in the club, he trains hard every week, keeps to a healthy diet always looks to improve his game. Jordan also captains the NDSL representative squad and along with Sam Nugent has been selected for the FAI Emerging Talent Programme. Both Jordan and Sam will be key players when our under 15 Premier squad travel to Cork to play Ringmahon Rangers in the 5th round of the SFAI All Ireland cup (last 16)
